Obstacle 98: Temerity

“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship.”

Temerity tames success. Being reckless, rash or foolhardy – the definition of temerity – is irrational. These traits ensure failure. Unless the obstacle of temerity is tempered with focused discipline, defeat is inevitable.

Forge through failure and defeat. Learn from teachable mistakes. Vow not to repeat the past, it is done for. You’ve got success to make. Success is not boring or foolishly risky, build excitement into every victory.

Waste not the moment or the time. Practice due diligence. Suspend rashness. Plan well. Sail your ship on charted waters. Leave the shore, set sail. Move out into the stream of life. Operate beyond the ordinary, but observe success rules.

Banish recklessness. Take control. Go forward with confidence. Weather your storms. Only courage is spoken here.

Have fortitude.
