Obstacle 78: Piety

Piety proportions belief.  Faith is a verb, not a noun. To believe is one thing, to have faith is another. The principal difference is that faith embodies action.

Piety is. The degree of one’s piety depends on your own thermostat. Achievement is faith. Determine what piety feels like to you.

Work viewed as a form of worship implies piety.  Thus, if your activity is based in integrity, if your conversations are governed by good, and your desire is to be of service to others; then you are grounded in piety.

The keystone is faith. Apply piety,
