Obstacle 66: Mediocrity

Mediocrity is a place and it is bordered on the north by compromise, on the south by indecision, on the east by past thinking, and on the west by lack of vision.” ~John Mason

Mediocrity mains greatness.  Settling for less than your best disguises your greatness.  Remove your mask and be who you are intended to be.

Reach toward success. Many people often settle for less than they can achieve or for less than they deserve due to fear. Others do not realize the impact of their work or service and therefore remain in the background, shadowing their full potential. Fear not!

“He has not learned the lesson of life who does not everyday surmount a fear.”  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Surmount your fears. Allow the spotlight to shine on you sometimes. There are no options to edit if you intend to break out of mediocrity.  Tune into your passions.  Write down your goals and add a completion timeline.

Affirm yourself and your work/goals everyday.

Get excised. Pump up your life.

Opportunity Step: Tell yourself “I am great” today.
