Obstacle 2: Anxiety

You are the CEO of your life-when you Climb Every Obstacle you control who you are.

Obstacle 2: Anxiety in the book, Climb Every Obstacle: Eliminate Your Limits (http://climbeveryobstacle.com) begins with this advice:

“Anxiety is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained.”  ~Arthur Somers Rocke

Anxiety argues with logic. It is a by-product of undue worry, fear and distrust in self-ability.  Anxiety indicates a feeling of a loss of control which usually provokes a response to play it safe.

Don’t play it safe doing so often retards success. Take calculated, educated risks. Be free!

Compress anxiety by:

  • maintaining a positive attitude
  • minimizing “fear” talk
  • focusing on the present
  • knowing your options

Have confidence. Take a few deep breaths. Absorb the sun rays of success.

Opportunity Step: Relax. Spend time in a garden or park today.
